
Jennifer dreamed of all her life to be a multitasking star. When she was young Jennifer was fond of a variety of genres of music, particularly Afro-Caribbean musics like merengue, salsa, and Bachata. In addition, she loved mainstream music , like hip-hop and R&B. The music she loved was fascinated by the film industry. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer is also an entertainer and a Catholic schoolgirl, attended 8 years at Holy Family Catholic Primary School located in The Bronx. After completing an entire four-year period at the school, she was able to graduate from Preston High School, an all-girls prep school. When she was at school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete and was a participant in tennis and track. Her home in the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her residence for the majority of her adult life. Jennifer was the first to leave her home with her parents when she was 18 to move out. Lopez worked as a lawyer during this time and also took evening dance classes.
